Renovation of the ground floor "catering area" (Lot A) and renovation of "halls, stairwells and attic" (Lot B)

The monument "Peißnitzhaus" is an important meeting place for culture, education and community for the city of Halle and also far beyond and actively radiates a sign of civic commitment. The building envelope has already been repaired in accordance with the preservation order and the previously desolate ceilings in the building have been renewed. With the partial expansion of the basement and the creation of a toilet area that can be used by the general public, as well as other social and storage rooms necessary for the operation of the building, the first step towards a revitalization of the building was taken. On the basis of the new usage concept in the business by the Peißnitzhausverein, the further expansion of the house is now to take place and thus also the basis for a sustainable use of the property is to be created. For a timely and sustainable use by the association, also taking into account a constantly expanding cultural and educational program, the final renovation of the main building and in particular of the two cultural halls on the ground floor and upper floor is urgently needed. With the installation of a passenger elevator in access to all floors and the construction of additional sanitary units for people with physical disabilities, the correspondingly necessary structural infrastructure for barrier-free usability will be made possible.

The client intends to award planning services for object planning - Section 1 Buildings and interiors in accordance with §§ 34 and 35 of the HOAI.
