Conception, implementation and support of qualification measures for day care workers in Baden-Württemberg for the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport Baden-Württemberg.
The conception, implementation and support of qualification measures for day care workers in BW for the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport (Ministry of Culture) Baden-Württemberg is tendered.
Day care as a family-oriented and flexible form of care for children plays an important role in the care offers for children in the state in addition to child care in day-care centers. The quality of child day care is of particular importance. According to Section 22 of Book VIII of the Social Code, the funding mandate comprises upbringing, education and care. The qualification of day care workers must therefore be secured and further developed. The aim is that day care workers in Baden-Württemberg are uniformly qualified for their work.
The qualification of day care workers is currently carried out in a scope of 160 teaching units (TU).
In the future, a basic qualification of 300 TU (duration of one TU: 45 minutes) is to be implemented for new day care workers. With the expansion of the basic qualification to 300 teaching units for new day care workers and day care workers (140+) who are already active, the quantity and quality of qualification within the framework of the so-called “good daycare law” is to be further expanded nationwide.
