The contract includes engineering design, delivery, installation and commission of a complete sorting system for new Deichmanske main library. The contract also includes some attendance during the initiation period. All details shall be approved by the engineering design group prior to final production.

The system is expected to comprise the following main elements:

a) Conveyor belt - transport connection between all elements in the system,

b) Depositing units for the general public - 5 units,

c) Depositing units for employees - 7-8 units,

d) Lift - six levels,

e) Sorting fractions - 120-130 units,

f) Trolleys/boxes - two for each sorting fraction.

The new library building is expected to have 3 000 000 visitors and 2 000 000 lendings per annum.

It is estimated that number of concurrent visitors may amount to 1 500. At the time of opening, the total physical media collection will amount to approx. 500 000 units, including physical media types
