The Burgenlandkreis, as the client, plans to develop a central educational campus in Weißenfels with the help of subsidies.
The vacant monastery building (Am Kloster 2, parcel 1703/120) and the following properties are planned for the planning of the educational campus, grammar school, music school, adult education centre and monastery association:
-Saalstraße 4 (parcel 1697/120), building to be demolished
-Saalstraße 6 (parcel 1697/120), undeveloped, building has already been dismantled
-Saalstraße 2 (part of 1714/120), undeveloped
-Partial area of 120/4, undeveloped
-Nikolaistraße 45 (part of 1713/120), undeveloped
A public footpath, the Rosalskyweg, crosses the educational campus to the north-south.
The residential and commercial building at Saalstraße 4 is demolished.
The undeveloped plots are available for the design of a new building (extension) with direct reference to the individual monument monastery.
The planning task essentially consists of the modernisation of the monument to the monastery of St. Claren in combination with a new building/extension. The aim is to design the existing areas for barrier-free use as an educational location. The design language must be based on the style of the monastery complex. Subsequently, the outdoor facilities are planned accordingly. Different working methods and processes require variable and innovative room concepts with modern technical equipment in which users can develop. The education campus to be planned should always be able to be adapted to the needs of its users. As part of the planned conversion in accordance with the requirements of the listed building, it is important to design the various educational institutions in such a way that spatial and pedagogical networking is created and at the same time to create a good mix of open and controllable spaces in order to develop the best educational institutions.
Accordingly, a high value is placed on economic efficiency and sustainability in the planning task.
For the implementation of this project, the client needs planning support. The subject of the local award are therefore the following planning services:
