The contracting authority would like to enter into a contract with one tenderer for the operation, monitoring, hosting, and support of the contracting authority's IT needs. The procurement is for the hire, operation and monitoring of infrastructure and network, application and database operation, as well as an option for 1st and 2nd line support. The tenderer will not have the operational responsibility for third party equipment such as telephony (switches, telephone exchange, and apparatuses). Trygderetten currently uses the case and archive system ESA 8.4. ESA stands for Evry Saks og Arkivsystem and is currently maintained by Sikri AS. Sikri has given notification that ESA will reach its 'end of life' during this contract period for operational services. This means that Trygderetten will have to look for alternatives during the contract period, which could influence the scope of the operations supplier's service. DFØ c/o Statens innkjøpssenter is considering to enter into two joint government contracts for equipment and services related to the data processing centre, servers, and infrastructure; one of the procurement of hardware, and one for service procurements (data processing centre services). Trygderetten can be bound to use such joint contracts in the contract period. Trygderetten currently leases 3 multifunctional machines (cf. Annex 3), which are run in the operating environment of the current operations supplier, but where Digiflow has the service and maintenance of the machines. This contract for the multifunctional machines will expire in August/September 2022. Trygderetten has started work on collecting new tenders for such machines. Statens innkjøpssenter is also considering to establish a joint government contract for multifunctional machines and printers that Trygderetten could be bound to use. Trygderetten uses the Linux operative system in one application (database) - SIFT (Search in Free Text), which are databases that are maintained by Retriever and where Trygderetten's employees can search historical decisions in relation to our legal practice. A large number of these will also be made available on Lovdata, so that over time this application/database will probably disappear.
