Tender for the supply of Marine gas oil (MGO) to Læsø Municipality. Læsø Municipality operates 2 ferries that sail between Frederikshavn and Vesterø. The delivery of marine gas oil is continuously distributed throughout the year. The present tender includes the supply of Marine gas oil (MGO) for the ferry operation and deliveries to the ferries. The contract has a duration of 2 years starting from 15.2 2023 through 14.02 2025 with an option to extend twice 1 year. Reference shall be made to the specifications and the draft contract.
The service offered concerns the supply of marine gas oil for use as fuel in the Læsø ferries. The deliveries take place mainly in Frederikshavn and to a lesser extent at Læsø and other locations in Denmark. The tendered service includes a contract for the supply of standard marine gas oil per year of the type DMA ISO 8217:2017 or equivalent with a density of max 890 kg/m3 and a sulphur content of max 1000ppm. The contracting entity expects to purchase 1,500,000 – 1,600,000 litres per year, but only commits to purchase 1,200,000 litres per year. The supplier is obliged to deliver a maximum annual quantity of 1,800,000 litres corresponding to a total maximum quantity for the full term of the agreement, including options of 7,200,000 litres. The estimated value given in clause II.1.5) and the maximum value given in clause II.2.5) represent only the contracting entity's estimate of the contract values, but do not constitute a limitation on the scope of the contract. The scope of the contract is thus defined by the estimated and maximum quantities stated.
