Description:

The subject of the contract is the provision of successive services for the Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals in Gliwice Branch in Legnica consisting in the collection and acceptance for development, i.e. collection and / or processing (recovery / neutralization) of slag from the production of lead alloys based on the permit held .

In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of 9.12.2014 (Journal of Laws of 2014, item 1923) regarding the waste catalog, slag is hazardous waste with the code 10 04 01 *. Slags from the production of lead alloys are included in the amber list of waste and are listed in Annex IV to Regulation 1013/2006 - List A of the Basel Convention.

The Employer recommends familiarizing with the characteristics of the waste in question, its physical form and dimensions, before the date of submission of the offer. The Employer will provide the characteristics of the waste upon a written request of the Contractor. A specimen application for sharing the waste characteristics is attached

ZDH / 22/2018 - Collection and management of slag from the production of lead alloys (waste code 10 0401 *)

Collection and development, i.e. collection and / or processing (recovery / disposal) by the Contractor / Contractors will take place according to the following division into parts:

Part I: 10,000 tonnes up to 12 months from the date of signing the contract (i.e. about 830 tonnes / month)

The Purchaser, in the event of failure to complete the above-mentioned collection periods within the planned periods, reserves the right to extend the Agreements / Contract for another 3 months. Any extension of the deadline depends on the Employer's decision and is binding on the Contractor / Contractors.

The maximum daily volume of collections: 40 tons per day for each of the individual parts of the procedure, for each of the Contractors.

The collection will be carried out on business days, with the possibility of temporarily reducing or suspending the collection by the Employer. The maximum daily demand for slag collection reported by the Employer may not exceed 160 Mg in total for all four parts mentioned above.

The contractor is obliged to provide waste collection and management services, i.e. collection and / or processing (recovery / disposal) in accordance with the Waste Act of December 14, 2012 (consolidated text, Journal of Laws 2018 item 992) and the Act of 10.2.2017 Environmental Protection Law, as well as in accordance with other provisions in this respect, and in particular in accordance with the International Convention on the Road Transport of Dangerous Goods and Goods - ADR and the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of 7.10.2016 on detailed requirements for waste transport.

Variant 2. The contractor provides waste collection and management services outside of Poland

The contractor is obliged to provide waste collection and management services, i.e. processing (recovery / disposal) complying with the requirements of Regulation EC No. 1013/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 14, 2006 on shipments of waste, the Act of June 29, 2007 on international waste shipments.

Collection of waste for disposal, i.e. collection and / or processing (recovery / disposal) should be understood as loading it on the Contractor's means of transport. To this end, the Contractor shall organize on his own responsibility, at his own responsibility and at his own expense the transport of waste to the destination in accordance with applicable regulations. The Contractor undertakes when performing the contract to comply with the requirements of the European ADR Agreement and the Act of 19.8.2011 on the transport of dangerous goods.

The Contractor is required to act on behalf of the Non-Ferrous Metal Institute as a sender, shipper and carrier within the meaning of section 1.4
