Description:
Replacement construction of the Steinhavel barrage - lot 3 lock, weir, fish pass and boat tow

Replacement construction of the Steinhavel barrage - Lot 3 "Lock, weir, fish pass and boat drag".

The WNA Berlin is planning to replace the lock, to adapt the outer harbor, to replace the weir, to build a new access road including a crossing structure, to build a fish pass and to build a slope to overcome the gradient for muscle-powered sports boats.

The construction of the project is divided into three lots:

Lot 1: access including culvert structure

Lot 2: outer ports

Lot 3: lock, weir, FAA, boat tow and ancillary systems

The construction of the culvert structure, the access road during the construction period and the associated landscape protection and landscape construction measures (Lot 1) were accepted in September 2020.

The construction of the outer harbors, the recreational craft waiting areas, the bank protection and the associated landscape protection and landscaping measures (lot 2) were awarded in July 2020 and are expected to be completed in May 2021.

The construction of the lock, the weir, the fish pass, the boat drag and the ancillary systems as well as the associated landscape protection and landscaping measures are the subject of this tender document, lot 3.

The lock and the sheet piling of the boat tow will be built in parallel. In order to carry out this work in the planned time frame from 09/2021 to 05/2022, 3 drilling and insertion devices are required in parallel.

The weir can only be erected after the lock has been completed.
