The following apply to this contract: The content of article 26 of Law 9/2017, of 8 November, on Public Sector Contracts, which transposes into Spanish law the Directives of the European Parliament and of the Council 2014/23/EU and 2014/24/EU, of 26 February 2014 (hereinafter LCSP): Private contracts entered into by Public Administrations shall be governed, as regards its preparation and award, in the absence of specific rules, by Sections 1 and 2 of Chapter I of Title I of Book Two of this Law in general, and by its implementing provisions, applying additionally the remaining rules of administrative law or, where appropriate, the rules of private law, as appropriate by reason of the contracting subject or entity. With regard to their effects, modification and termination, these contracts shall be governed by private law. Royal Decree 1098/2001, of October 12, which approves the General Regulation of the Law on Public Administration Contracts, hereinafter RGLCAP, as long as it does not oppose the provisions of the LCSP.

The subject of the procedure is the contracting by the City Council of Mieres of a life and accident insurance policy for the municipal staff affected by the Collective Agreement/Agreement of the staff of the City Council of Mieres (Annex V), including members of the municipal corporation and temporary staff, in accordance with the conditions specified in the TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS, which are considered minimum coverage.

The object of the procedure is the contracting by the City Council of Mieres of an accident insurance policy for the volunteer personnel of Civil Protection in accordance with the conditions specified in the SPECIFICATION OF TECHNICAL PRESCRIPTIONS, which are considered minimum coverage, in compliance with the provisions of articles 28 and following of the Regulation of the Association of Civil Protection Volunteers, definitively approved by the Plenary Session of the City Council of Mieres, in a session held on September 29, 1.994 (published in the BOPA dated November 25, 1.994), which establishes that Civil Protection volunteers have the right to accident insurance for those risks arising during their performance, whose modality and amount of compensation will be fixed by the Municipal Plenary at the proposal of the Delegate Councilor.

The object of the procedure is the contracting by the City Council of Mieres of a voluntary school accident insurance policy for the students of the First Cycle School of Early Childhood Education "Les Xanes" during the school period, in accordance with the conditions specified in the TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS.

The object of this contract is the subscription by the City Council of Mieres of a Patrimonial Liability insurance policy for damage to property, in accordance with the conditions specified in the TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS, which are considered minimum coverage.

The object of the procedure is the contracting by the City Council of Mieres of a Civil/Patrimonial Liability insurance policy in accordance with the conditions specified in the TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS, which are considered minimum coverage.

It is the object of this contracting by the City Council of Mieres (Asturias), as policyholder, the insurance policies for the fleet of vehicles of the Municipality, in accordance with the conditions specified in the TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS which are considered minimum coverage.
