Monitoring at 4 installations in Mjøsa, monitoring in the largest rivers as well as monitoring of pollutants in 2 of these rivers.
Vassdragsforbundet would like to find a professionally capable cooperation partner within initiative orientated monitoring of lakes, rivers and streams. The rivers flowing into Mjøsa and Mjøsa itself have been monitored for more than 45 years. New this year, we also want to investigate the status of selected pollutants in two of the largest inlet rivers.
The environmental condition will be classified according to the applicable version of guidelines.
The competition includes these sub-areas together:
— monitoring of Stor-Mjøsa (main station Skreia),
— monitoring of the water quality at 3 other stations in Mjøsa, more specifically Brøttum, Kise and Furnesfjorden, as well as animal plankton in Furnesfjorden,
— monitoring of chemical and hygienic/bacteriological conditions in Mjøsa's 6 largest inlet rivers and the outflow river Vorma, as well as biological surveys in the 11 largest inlet rivers and Vorma on a rolling programme,
— monitoring of selected pollutants (heavy metals and organic compounds) in 2 of the largest inlet rivers,
— reporting, including various presentations and entering all data into the Vannmiljø database.
