Gateshead College are seeking a partner organisation a local professional football club, to support and provide opportunities for elite footballers from the College’s Football Academy

Gateshead College are seeking a local Football Club with their own league-standard stadium and training facilities, to support students elite footballers from the College’s Football Academy.

The partner organisation will have appropriately qualified and experienced staff to support learners with the practical element of their studies. The partner organization will deliver a professional standard coaching sessions, as well offering the opportunity to represent the club in Under-18 and Under-19 league fixtures. The partner organization must have facilities within walking distance of Gateshead College’s Academy for Sport campus, and have the flexibility to meet the demands of a busy curriculum timetable.

The partner organisation will assume joint responsibility for student success, support student recruitment events, and provide advertising opportunities at their home league fixtures, as well as ensuring all aspects of the learner experience are ‘Outstanding’.
