Framework agreement for battery systems for NVE.
The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Administration (NVE) is under the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy, and is responsible for managing the country's water and energy resources. We shall ensure a secure power supply and improve the society's ability to manage flood and landslide risks.
NVE-SVFJE (Landslide River Systems, Technical Rockfall Monitoring) has the national responsibility for technical monitoring of large rockfalls. The monitoring instruments and systems are often inaccessibly located on steep mountain sides and in alpine areas. As part of this work, NVE would like to enter into a framework agreement with a tenderer of battery solutions.
The battery systems will be part of systems for monitoring rockfall (cf. the attached requirements specification in part II annex 1), both replacements of existing and in new installations. In addition, there are chargers/inverters, regulators and other relevant accessories. A rough estimate is approx. 30 new establishments and approx. 5 replacements over a 4-year period. The estimated value based on the current systems is NOK 5 million - NOK 6 million.
