The Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency (Norwegian: Forsvarsmateriell) has entered into a contract with Norsk Scania AS for the delivery of 30 aircraft refuellers for refuelling aircraft and helicopters in use at the Armed Forces' airport bases. Included in the procurement is a CLS agreement, as well as an option for the delivery of 30 additional vehicles. The vehicles shall be delivered from 2022.

The procurement process was implemented in two stages as a tender contest with negotiations after a prior information notice, cf. the Norwegian Defence and Security Procurement Regulations (Norwegian: FOSA) § 5-1 (1) The first stage contained the pre-qualification of tenderers. Subsequently, all pre-qualified tenderers received an Invitation to Tender.

The Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency (Norwegian: Forsvarsmateriell) carried out negotiations with four of the tenderers and the Agency is satisfied with how the market responded to the Invitation to Tender.
