The contract involves the supply and 24 months of warranty of 10 under pressure regulating valves and 25 under pressure safety valves per year. The installation and connection to the ventilation equipment will be done by ITU staff. For reasons of nuclear safety (potentially contaminated material) the maintenance and eventual repairs will be performed internally at ITU.

Following the upcoming supply of new gas purification systems, this equipment is necessary in order to permit the connection to the glove boxes. Furthermore, because of reasons of fire protection, the current pressure valves (made of PE) have to be replaced with new ones made of stainless steel.
