In order to cover the capacity need for nursing places, Solrød Municipality wants to realize the fourth phase at Plejecenter Christians Have at Christians Torv 124, 2680 Solrød. In addition, it is also wished to expand the capacity in home and nursing care and, in the same connection, move to new premises in connection with Plejecenter Christians Have stage 4, so that synergy can be created in relation to the collaboration between the nursing home, home and nursing care.

Christians Have will be expanded with 45 nursing homes incl. service and common area totalling approx. 3825 m2 as well as approx. 1,000 m2 home and nursing care. The size of the plot is approx. 2,800 m2. Today, Christian Have nursing home has a capacity of 142 nursing homes and will total 187 nursing homes after the expansion.

The present assignment concerns the design and execution of stage 4 at Plejecenter Christians Have. 45 nursing homes will be built with associated common, care, care and service functions, establishment of parking areas and connection to existing gardens/sensory gardens. The extension is to be built in accordance with the 'Act on Public Housing, etc.' (General Housing Act).

The project is offered in a turnkey contract competition with negotiation to four teams consisting of contractor, architect, engineering and landscape architect competencies, where the contractor is the tenderer and contractor to Solrød Municipality. The building must achieve DGNB-Gold certification.
