Nordland county invites tenderers, on behalf of the participants in the County North Collaboration (FKN), to an open tender contest for a framework agreement for the procurement, maintenance and service of dental equipment.

The contracting authorities are Nordland, Nord-Trøndelag and Møre og Romsdal counties through the County North Collaboration (FKN). As FKN is not a legal entity, identical contracts will be established between the chosen service provider and each county.

Møre og Romsdal county has 37 dental clinics in 34 of 36 municipalities in the county. The dental health service is organised in 4 competence regions. The dental health service has approx. 190 employees. See https://mrfylke.no/Tenesteomraade/Tannhelse for further information.

Nord- Trøndelag county has 21 dental clinics that are divided into 3 districts: Southern dental health district, mid dental health district and northern dental health district. See http://www.ntfk.no/Arbeidsomrader/tannhelse/Sider/default.aspx for further information.

Nordland county has 47 dental clinics, 13 bi-dental clinics and 4 specialist clinics. The dental health in Nordland is divided into three districts: Dental health district south, dental health district mid and dental health district north. Annex 7 only indicates the volume of procurements in 2014 and is not binding for the county. The county will be obligated to procure dental equipment, maintenance and service through this contract. The exception from this will be if the tenderer cannot deliver the wanted/equivalent equipment, parts or maintenance.

The contracting authority draws attention to the fact that the ongoing municipality reform and the notified region reform can lead to changes with municipalities and counties merging. Nord-Trøndelag and Sør-Trøndelag counties has, amongst others, decided to merge with effect from 1.1.2018. The framework agreement's provisions on transferring rights and obligations include provisions for the consequences of such changes.
