The procurement concerns the provision of maintenance and repair services for household and institutional machinery to subscribers under the conditions set out in this invitation to tender and its annexes.

The aim is for the actual contract period to start on 1 October 2022 and end on 30 September 2024. In addition, the contracting entity reserves the possibility, if it so wishes, to extend the contract one year at a time, but not more than two (2) option years. The exercise of the option option shall be decided by the contracting entity at the end of the actual contract period after separate consultations with the contract vendor.

The purpose of the procurement is to provide maintenance and repair services for household and institutional machinery for subscribers between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. on a daily basis, mainly in the Lappeenranta area, but also in other municipalities in South Karelia. Household appliances for maintenance and repair include refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and washing machines. In addition, the tenderer may also provide an option for the maintenance and repair of plant machinery. Institutional machines include washing machines, tumble dryers and cabinets for residential blocks of flats, service houses, hospitals and institutions. Plant kitchen appliances are not covered by maintenance and repairs for this purchase. Subscribers have access to several brands of appliances for household appliances and institutional washing machines. The tenderer shall indicate in its offer which equipment brands of household appliances and institutional washing machines can be serviced and repaired.

During the contract period, there may be some additional or decommissioning of the Customer's items and repairable equipment. Repair services may not be purchased for equipment for which repair is covered by the warranty. The purchase does not include a purchase obligation, but the Customer acquires maintenance and repair services as needed.
