In order to meet the challenges as a service provider for the growing city, it is important to plan ahead for both the commercial divisions and the administrative area of Netzgesellschaft Potsdam GmbH (NGP) and to create the infrastructural foundations with a view to the future. Against the backdrop of limited space, increasing cost pressure and increasing demands on the quality of workplaces, long-term, future-oriented location planning is a central strategic instrument. At Gartenstraße 63, NGP's central corporate location is to be created for both the administrative and commercial areas. The objective of merging all organizational units of NGP at the Gartenstraße site is to:

- Optimize workflows

- to create attractive, sustainable jobs for all NGP employees, and

- to ensure an economical and resource-saving use of the site in the long term.

The development of the Gartenstraße 63 site is to be carried out under the premises of functionality, sustainability and space and cost efficiency.

The location Gartenstraße 63 is to be developed for the NGP in order to locate all organizational units of the NGP there. The NGP wants to actively promote new forms of cooperation, enable knowledge exchange and contacts between employees and further strengthen the affiliation with the company. The aim is to create optimal spatial working conditions for all employees, which are tailored to their individual work processes. Attractive sanitary areas, efficient storage areas and modern workshop areas are to be made available.

The office units of the new administration building are intended to meet modern standards and developments in today's working world. They are intended to enable transparency on the one hand and confidentiality on the other. In addition, flexible and ergonomic equipment is provided. In addition to standard workstations, there will be a large number of rooms and modules so that employees can choose a place of work that corresponds to their work.

The subject matter is general planning services for building and logistics areas in accordance with the Fee Schedule for Architects and Engineers (HOAI 2021) as well as services for fire protection under building regulations in accordance with issue 17 of the Committee of Associations and Chambers of Engineers and Architects for the Fee Schedule e.V. (AHO) as part of the development of the Gartenstraße 63 site for NGP GmbH.

The aim of the planning services is to develop and implement a design characterized by sustainability and space efficiency in order to create attractive working conditions that ensure high productivity of operations for NGP's employees.
