The acquisition concerns authorised medicinal products which are marketed in Finland on 1.1.2023. Competition concerns not only medicinal products, but also include the following categories of products: rinses, basic, hand and lip creams, alcohols, clinical dietary supplements, dietary supplements and special infant formulas. Product groups are described in more detail in the call for tenders. The acquisition also applies to medicinal products for which the marketing authorisation process, co-importation authorisation or co-distribution notification process is ongoing, but a marketing authorisation or co-importation authorisation is granted or a co-distribution declaration is approved before the start of the procurement period and the products are marketed in Finland no later than 1 January 2023. The tenderer may bid for all active ingredients or only a portion of the invitation to tender. The contracting entity may choose from the provider to use some of the products offered, all products offered or none of the products.
