The purpose of the contract is the provision of the services of refilling, inspection and review of the compressed air bottles of the Institute of Public Security of Catalonia necessary for the students of firefighters of the courses included in the academic calendar of the annuities 2023, 2024 and 2025.

ISPC compressed air bottles can be:

- Metal: steel with alloys, with a volume of 6 liters.

- Composite materials, with a volume of 6.8 liters

In both cases, the working pressure is 300 bar.

To carry out the inspection work, it will be done taking into account the type of bottles and the corresponding UNE standard. For steel bottle the UNE-EN 1968 standard and for the composite bottle, the UNE-EN ISO 11623 standard.

The number of bottles available to the ISPC is as follows:

235 Steel compressed air bottles

71 Bottles of fibre compressed air

In the same way, the bottles that the ISPC acquires in the period of execution of the contract will be subject to inspection and review.
