Transport for the general public: Passenger transport in local rail passenger transport (SPNV) for the operation of the lines RE 82 (Bielefeld - Detmold - Altenbeken), RB 63 (Münster - Coesfeld), RB 67 (Bielefeld - Warendorf - Münster), RB 71 (Bielefeld - Rahden/Bad Salzuflen), RB 73 (Bielefeld - Lemgo-Lüttfeld), RB 74 (Bielefeld - Paderborn), RB 75 (Bielefeld - Halle(West.) - Osnabrück), RB 76 (Verl - Gütersloh - Harsewinkel), RB 77 (Herford - Hameln - Elze (- Hildesheim)), as well as optional RB 68 (Münster - Sendenhorst).
Northern Westphalia Network - Lot 1The contracting authority NWL intends to award a transport contract for passenger transport by rail passenger transport on the RB 76 line (Verl - Gütersloh - Harsewinkel) with approx. 0.3 million train km/year and optionally the RB 68 line (Münster - Sendenhorst) with approx. 0.5 million train km/year in competition according to Art. 5 para. 3 of Regulation (EC) 1370/2011.
Operations are expected to start at the timetable change in December 2026.
BEMU vehicles will be made available to the contractor while ensuring the availability of the BEMU vehicles during operation.
The responsible authority for Lot 1 is only the NWL.
Northern Westphalia Network - Lot 2The contracting authorities NWL and LNVG intend to award a transport contract for the carriage of passengers by rail on the following lines:
RE 82 Bielefeld - Detmold - Altenbeken
RB 63 Münster - Coesfeld
RB 67 Bielefeld - Warendorf - Münster
RB 71 Bielefeld - Rahden/Bad Salzuflen
RB 73 Bielefeld - Lemgo-Lüttfeld
RB 74 Bielefeld - Paderborn
RB 75 Bielefeld - Halle(West.) - Osnabrück
RB 77 Herford - Hameln - Elze (- Hildesheim)
in competition pursuant to Art. 5 para. 3 of Regulation (EC) 1370/2011.
For the RE 82, RB 63, RB 67, RB 71 and RB 73 lines, operations are expected to commence at the international timetable change in December 2028. For the RB 74, RB 75 and RB 77 lines, operations are expected to start at the international timetable change in December 2029. Lot 2 has a volume of approx. 7.1 million train km/year.
The contractor must conclude a specified leasing contract for BEMU vehicles, including ensuring their availability during operation, which is currently being put out to tender.
In addition to the NWL, the LNVG is responsible for the lot.
