Wirtschaftsbetriebe Duisburg - AöR (hereinafter referred to as AG) as a public waste management authority (hereinafter referred to as örE) collects lightweight packaging (LVP) and non-packaging of the same material (sNVP) of the contract area NW101 City of Duisburg in the combined recycling bin.

The recording takes place in a combined organizational responsibility. The system operator is responsible for recording LVP (arithmetical share), and the AG as the örE is responsible for recording sNVP (arithmetical share). The AG as the örE takes on the organizational and financing responsibility for sorting and recycling for the volume equivalent sNVP. For the quantity equivalent LVP, the organizational and financing responsibility for sorting and recycling lies with the dual system operators.

The LVP collection had been put out to tender by DSD GmbH for the period from 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2026 in the contract area NW101 City of Duisburg and the collection contract had been awarded to WBD-AöR as örE in a competition.

The quantity equivalent sNVP is handed over for sorting by the WBD-AöR as örE after the collection mix has been recorded. The transfer facility of Wirtschaftsbetriebe Duisburg - AöR, Zur Kupferhütte 10, 47053 Duisburg, is set as the transfer point.

The volume share of sNVP from the contract area NW101 (City of Duisburg) attributable to the AG as örE will be made available as the quantity equivalent sNVP of the collection mixture from the combined recycling bin at the transshipment facility of Wirtschaftsbetriebe Duisburg - AöR, Zur Kupferhütte 10, 47053 Duisburg, after collection. When accepting, sorting and recycling the quantity provided, the following services must be provided:

- Transfer of the volume equivalent sNVP from the transshipment point and transport to the sorting plant,

- Sorting of the quantity equivalent sNVP,

- Prompt recycling of the sorted fractions in accordance with the requirements of the Packaging Act,

- Execution of quantity reports,

- Keeping records, keeping the receipts for a proof of volume flow, proof of the recycling route of the sorting fractions of the final recipient (at the request of the Client),

- marketing of sorted products, with the exception of liquid cartons,

- Disposal of sorting residues

The term of the services described in detail below begins on 01.01.2024 and is valid until 31.12.2026.
