The present invitation to tender concerns the establishment of a Contract for KOD Transport, i.e. collection, loading, transport and unloading (emptying) of Source-sorted Organic Municipal Waste (KOD).
The contract gives ARGO the right to order collection of collected KOD from ARGO's 9 owner municipalities for delivery to the treatment plant Gemidan Egedal, which performs pre-treatment and biogasification of the delivered KOD.
Under the contract, the supplier is obliged to collect and load KOD from ARGO's incineration plant and transport and unload it at Gemidan Egedal.

ARGO's future transport of KOD is estimated at 21,000 tonnes per year, divided into approximately 570 semi-trailer drives per year. The extent of transport depends on the amount of waste collected from ARGO's 9 owner municipalities.
The estimated quantity is for guidance only and cannot be taken as an indication of a guaranteed future level of turnover. Volume can vary both upwards and downwards during the agreement period.
Transport of the Waste takes place as required by the staff at the Facility ordering transport from the Supplier. There is Waste for approx. 2 fixed daily collections, approx. 10 per week.
Alternatively, the Supplier may collect the collections together for e.g. 3 days per week, provided that the Supplier still meets ARGO's need for approx. 10 pick-ups per week and pick-up the first working day after ordering.
