The waste disposal association operates a mechanical-biological treatment plant at the location in Deiderode (MBA Südniedersachsen). The subject of this award procedure is the full power supply of the MBA Südniedersachsen from October 1st, 2021 with electrical energy from 100% renewable energies. It includes the supply of electricity and use of the grid (all-inclusive contract). It must be taken into account that significant changes to the operation of the MBT Südniedersachsen are planned from July 2021 and the electricity demand in the tender period depends on the start and exact scope of the construction work as well as the associated operational restrictions of the MBT.

The supply free collection point of the waste disposal association Südniedersachsen is tendered based on the forecast of the registration office with an estimated demand of approx. 1,550 MWh in the period from October 2021 to March 2022 and of approx. 3,100 MWh in the period from April 2022 to March 2023. If the contract is extended until June 30, 2023, a power requirement of approx. 775 MWh can be assumed for the period from April to June 2023 based on the prognosis of the registry.
