The former abbey church of St. Michael is a historically valuable building in the inner city area. The entire monastery complex is one of the monuments of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bamberg. The object is a monument of the highest rank within the meaning of Art. 1 para. 2 DschG (Bavarian Monument Protection Act). In 2015, the general renovation of the abbey church of St. Michael began with the structural repair. This first phase of construction ended in 2018.
It is the takeover of a planning service that has already been tendered and commissioned, planning services have already been provided in accordance with HOAI TGA planning electrical installation.
The electrical installation trade has already been awarded and some electrical installations have already been carried out.
In the course of the construction project, façades, room shell with equipment and the entire building technology will be revised.
For these further construction phases, the specialist planning services of electrical planning, system groups for high and low current, fire alarm system, telecommunications and information technology systems on the property of the former monastery church of St. Michael are to be awarded.

A complete LP5 implementation planning is available, the work phases 6 and 7 have been completed for electrical engineering. According to the current status, services in LP5 still have to be supplemented or partially replanned, supplementary management is required and LP 8 + 9 must be offered in full.
Applicants are required to have extensive knowledge in the planning of electrical installations in sacred buildings, as well as in dealing with historical buildings from the point of view of monument preservation and construction management in the renovation of the electrical installation of churches and other buildings in the monument area.
In AG5 Media Technology, the interface ELT/Media Technology is to be supervised and the construction management is to be carried out. The media technology construction contract has already been awarded.
Lighting design is not part of the service.
