WDR intends to temporarily rent a Riedel Mediornet system for the production of the European Football Championship 2024 at the Broadcast Center Cologne (BCC) in Cologne to supplement the existing infrastructure for the acceptance of audio/video, synchronization, audio shuffling, decentralized distribution and generation of multiviewers including Brodcast controllers. The services also include the configuration and provision of the functional system during Euro 2024 in the BCC and support throughout the entire period.

EURO 2024 will open in Munich on Friday 14 June 2024 and end on Sunday 14 July 2024 with the final in Berlin. ARD and ZDF will each broadcast 17 games on TV, all games on the radio and in the social media channels during the aforementioned event period. UEFA's IBC is in Leipzig. The German team's quarters will be in Herzogenaurach.
