At the future transition between town and landscape, an ensemble of regional school, elementary school with after-school care center and two-field sports hall with cafeteria is being built on an area of around 7 hectares with the "New SchoolCampus" Zarrentin. The three polygonal structures are arranged around a central campus square. Access to the campus is from the south.

The two-storey buildings are planned from reinforced concrete with a light facing stone facade. The roofs are sloping flat and have extensive greenery. The two school buildings have an inner courtyard. The individual schools are assigned quiet, manageable outdoor areas for games and breaks. The two schools have a spacious two-storey foyer with an outdoor staircase. There are two stairwells and a lift for further access. The administration and some specialist classes are located on the ground floor of the regional school. There are specialist classes and general classrooms on the upper floor. On the ground floor of the primary school with day care center are the teachers' room and the primary school subject classes. The hoard area is also located here. The general classrooms are located on the upper floor. All classrooms are naturally ventilated. The corridors are spacious and offer space for free learning zones. The two-field sports hall is used both for school sports and by clubs. The hall can be divided into two parts by a dividing curtain in the middle. The OKFF of the sports hall is 1m lower than the rest of the building. The hall has a baffle wall up to 2 m high on three sides. On the fourth page is the stand. Two equipment rooms are attached to the sports hall. There is a changing area with 2 women's and 2 men's changing rooms. The upper floor of the two-field sports hall with cafeteria houses the technical supply for all three buildings. The cafeteria is used by both schools and offers 152 seats. The canteen kitchen is planned as a dispensing and regenerating kitchen. As a first step, the development of the campus area was started. Construction began for the building construction of the regional school in December 2020. Construction of the two-field sports hall with canteen started in spring 2021 and for primary school/after-school in summer 2021.
