The Institute for Transuranium Elements (ITU) plans to purchase a benchtop Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) for small samples containing radioactive material.

The microscope will be used to analyse radioactive samples for their microstructure and elemental composition. Due to the radioactivity of the samples the device will be integrated into a laboratory glovebox at ITU.

The purchase shall cover the delivery and installation of the complete equipment, including training. The glovebox integration does not form part of this tender.
