The existing electrostatic precipitator of Line 1 has significantly exceeded the expected service life of 25 - 30 years, as its dust separation is no longer state-of-the-art.

The electrostatic precipitator line 1 is therefore to be replaced as part of the overall project "Performance increase and optimization of the waste incineration plant trimmis". The contract for the construction of the new electrostatic precipitator has already been awarded via an open procedure. Before the new electrostatic precipitator can be installed, the old electrostatic precipitator must be dismantled and disposed of properly.
