The framework agreement includes soil and ground surveys to be carried out during 2024–2026 in the regions of North Ostrobothnia and Kainuu.
The contract includes the following works, among others:

The unit prices specified in the tender shall include all labour costs, including personnel and equipment costs. Thus, the unit prices specified in the offer include all work and costs related to research work, e.g. measurements of the x,y,z coordinates of research points, cable and piping systems, etc. equipment surveys.
In addition, unit prices include obtaining permits required for the work, communicating with the landowners of the work site, quality assurance measures, photographing and documenting test pits, and printing and reporting research data. In addition, unit prices must include checking points and delivering the results to the customer.

As a rule, research programmes and schedules are drawn up by the client / design consultant.
Geotechnical expertise is required to direct and coordinate research work.
The framework agreement does not include geoengineering and rock engineering tasks.
The assignments included in the contract are of two types, either by the client or by a design consultant.
The services provided by the framework contract operator must cover all the services provided by the framework contract operator. subdivisions.
The framework agreement is made with four (4) service providers. The number of contractors may be less than 4 if there are fewer accepted tenders.
This framework agreement may also be used by the organisation of the Northern Supply Area.
During the validity of the framework agreement, individual assignments may also be funded by regional councils, cities and municipalities in the areas of ELY Centres.
