Through this contest, the Stavanger municipality, c/o BMU Anleggsprosjekter, would like to enter into a contract for the replacement and clearing of water and sewage systems using a "trenchless" method. The water and sewage pipes that will be renewed are located in Madlaveien, Hannasdalsgata and side streets. A street with priority for cycles will also be constructed in Hannasdalsgata.
Existing sewage and surface water pipes and service pipes will be renovated with sliplining in Madlaveien, Hannasdalsgata and side streets.
Existing runoff drains will also be renovated. As a general rule, the pipes are to be renovated with sliplining, but on some stretches with poor conditions/collapses, spot excavation may be necessary to repair the pipe before it can be renovated via sliplining.
The water pipes in the same area are being renovated by drawing in tightly connected PE pipes. Existing manholes will be removed and most will be replaced with new underground valves. 2 manholes are designed as ordinary descent manholes where the drainage of the manhole is routed via a new surface water manhole before discharge to the AF pipe.
The stretch in Hannasdalsgata is part of the main routes Madlaruta (cycle route 3) and Inner Ring (cycle route 10), and runs from Ivar Aasens vei to the connection point to the main cycle path. There are currently few facilities for cyclists. A road with priority for cycles with pavement on one side will be established in Hannasdalsgata, and a cycle path with pavement on one side in the current foot and cycle path. Some of the intersections will be raised to reduce the speed of cars on intersecting streets.
