The subject of the contract is the collection and management of municipal waste from property owners in the Skała commune, and from the selective municipal waste collection point (PSZOK).

Collection of municipal waste includes municipal waste generated on residential and uninhabited real estate, as well as municipal waste arising from business operations.

The collection and management of municipal waste should be carried out in a manner that ensures achievement of appropriate levels of recycling, preparation for re-use and recovery by other methods, and reduction of the mass of biodegradable municipal waste sent to landfill.

The number of real estate located in the commune of Skała, in which the inhabitants reside, is 3 319, these are single-family real estate and 184 uninhabited real estate. Number of inhabitants residing in the abovementioned real estate, as at 19.9.2019 on the basis of submitted declarations, it amounts to 10 055 people, including 6 549 people residing in rural areas and 3 505 people residing in the city of Skała.
