The existing pharmacy cabinets in HCI (formerly called pull-out chemical cabinets) were put into operation in phase 1 in 2001 and in phase 2 of the third expansion phase HCI building in 2004. Today, these cabinets no longer correspond to the state of the art for the storage of flammable chemicals. The flammable or flammable chemicals to be stored must be stored in certified safety cabinets (EN 14470-1). This means that around 40% of the pharmacy cabinets (300 units) in the HCI have to be replaced with safety cabinets.
