The Public Transport Barometer, further called Barometern, is an industry-wide quality, attitude and travel habit survey that is run and developed by the industry organization Svensk Kollektivtrafik. The barometer is mainly used by the Trade Association and its member organizations. The results are also used by authorities, research and transport companies as well as by the media to analyze and report public transport. The purpose is to find a supplier who can carry out the survey, process and report results and provide the results to the client and member organizations for their own analyzes via adequate tools.

The public transport barometer includes about 90,000 respondents annually.
