The contracting authority estimates their requirement over the period of the contract, including the period of the optional extension, to be up to 3.25 million courses of vaccine.

The awarding of lots is not appropriate for this procurement due to the fact that the two vaccines which currently have Marketing Authorisations are not interchangeable within a National Immunisation Programme.
