The City of Salo (contracting entity/client) invites tenders for the delivery and lease of temporary facilities at Armfelt School to the City of Salo for a fixed period in accordance with this invitation to tender and its appendices. A more detailed description of the procurement is given in Section II.2.4) Description of the procurement in the invitation to tender, as well as in this invitation to tender and its annexes.

The object of the procurement is the delivery of a modular mobile and temporary teaching building to the construction site located at Kuruntie 5-7, 24800 Halikko, fully ready for use and the lease of the building to the City of Salo. The delivery includes the design and implementation of a mobile and temporary teaching building with HVAC work fully completed. The rental period is fixed-term, starting on 25.10.2023 and ending on 31.12.2024.

The delivery must include the construction of the building, which includes the premises, equipment and furnishings described in the invitation to tender, and its design, construction, transport and erection to the construction site and, at the end of the lease period, the removal of the building from the construction site. Attached to the invitation to tender is an example drawing of the placement of the building on the plot. The building should be located on one level on the plot so that the yard areas are also preserved for maximum use. The client decides on the final location on the construction site. The status programme of the object is described in the invitation to tender under Criteria for the object of procurement.

The supplier must appoint a chief designer for the project, a responsible supervisor and the supervisors responsible for the specialisations KVV and IV.

The client carries out the following foundation work:

- On the foundations of the building at the level of the finished surface of the gravel bed plot or at the level of the foundation line, depending on how the supplier is established

- Drainage ditches and stormwater drains with wells if necessary

- Deliver water and sewer connections to points agreed with the supplier, as well as to the main switchboard of the electricity connection

If the delivery of the building requires some other foundation work, the supplier is responsible for this. The supplier is responsible for preparing the building permit images required by the building permit. The supplier is responsible for regulatory inspections and approval for use. The client applies for a temporary building permit with plans drawn up by the supplier. The Client requires that the delivery is fully completed and the temporary facilities ready for furnishing the Client no later than 25.10.2023, when the rental period begins.
