The framework agreement covers forging and construction work in connection with conversions, extensions, possible mergers and renovation of existing pipeline networks for Aabybro District Heating. In terms of conversions, there will be larger residential areas of between 200 and 400 consumers, for example, Birkelse/Ryå, Moseby/Kaas, Hune, Blokhus, and Nørhalne are expected to be converted within the next 8 years.  An additional transmission line is expected between Jetsmark Energiværk and Aabybro District Heating. In addition, ongoing renovation of the pipeline network in Aabybro.

The tender specifications contain a detailed description of the task and the procurement process, and the other material contains a description of the scope of the task. Unless Aabybro District Heating chooses to award the task on the basis of an initial or subsequent tender, a negotiation process will be carried out in which the tenderers will be invited to pararial negotiation meetings, which will be documented according to the description in the tender specifications. The purpose of the negotiation meetings is to ensure that bidders are aware of where their offers might need to be improved. In this connection, Aabybro District Heating will comment on the offers already submitted. At the negotiation meeting, tenderers will have the opportunity to challenge the tender documents. Aabybro District Heating reserves the right to award the contract on the basis of the initial offer and, if necessary, not to conduct negotiations with the tenderers. No alternative offers may be submitted and no remuneration will be given for participation in the tender.
