Sønderborg Waste A/S (Registration) is part of Sønderborg Forskie A/S and is responsible for the collection and treatment of waste from households in Sønderborg Municipality as well as for the operation of recycling sites in the municipality, including the treatment of waste received at the recycling sites.

The tender - subsequently designated the contract - includes the collection, transport, sorting, processing, marketing and recycling of the plastic fraction collected by the Contracting Regiver of Sønderborg Municipality to meet the recycling requirements of the Waste Ordinance (Bek. No 2159 of 09/12/2020 on waste)

The plastic fraction is a mixing fraction consisting of plastic waste (hard and soft plastic) as well as food and drink cartons.

Pick-up must be made from a trans-loading facility located in Sønderborg Municipality. Contracting entities ballet the plastic fraction and loading the bales onto the Bidder's vehicles.

The plastic fraction shall be processed at installations within the EU/EEA, and the sorted materials and fractions are to be allocated for recycling at EU/EEA recycling installations.

The tenderer shall be entitled to allow the task of handling the Contracting Plastic Fraction and the resulting materials and fractions obtained by one or more processing facilities. The Bidder is free to plan how many plants will be used. However, contracting entities assume that the plastic fraction from Contracting Regiver is delivered to a receive/sorting plant. The bidder may from here freely dispose of the faction to meet the terms of the contract.
