Description:
Manage Source Copy ETL tooling

For some large customers, chamber of commerce register information is made available by means of a database that can be accessed by them. The data in this database is kept up-to-date near real time (15 minutes delay) by means of the ETL Source Copy.

The ETL-Bronkopie has been developed on the basis of standard market-based ETL techniques. The ETL code is written in T-SQL and based on a code framework (DWH Accelerator) that is part of the solution to be managed and developed. The data is stored on-premise in the vicinity of the Chamber of Commerce.

The management and further development is currently carried out by a third party. This contract expires soon. KVK is looking for a new party that can take over this service.

The UBO copy was built first and provides no insight into the status/logging, is less self-healing (requires manual work and the outage is not isolated until the error). In addition, the UBO copy must be connected to NPA in order to update the data of Natural Persons and to build up the complete history thereof.

For the GIO copy and the LEI copy, no ideas have been formulated at this time about the further development. The Chamber of Commerce will concretize the needs regarding the further development of these copies at a later time during the agreement.

In addition, kvk is looking for a party that may be able to provide for the development and management of new source copies in the future. The Chamber of Commerce expects the tenderer to provide data and requirements analysis in order to form a picture of the desired solution by the end customer and the data available in the register, so that the tenderer can realize an ETL solution (or similar) based on this, which corresponds to the requirements of the Chamber of Commerce and the end customer.

Should the Chamber of Commerce wish to have additional source copies developed/managed in the future, the tenderer prefers to use the same (ETL and Microsoft-based) techniques and the same non-functional requirements apply. Both the source (the register, often DB2 or Postgres) and the copy (DB) are located at the location of the Chamber of Commerce.
