Sport NI is investing in a capital equipment project across all 11 District Council areas that will: — increase accessibility to sport and active recreation for people with a disability; — increase the variety of sport and active recreation options open to people with a disability; — allow for more opportunities to be provided, ultimately increasing participation and, — ensure activities provided for this group as a result of the project are consistent across all areas of NI. The contract will remain in place for an initial period of 14 months. Disability Sport NI may purchase additional equipment during this period subject to financial approval.
