Request for tender for the provision of Upgrade and ongoing support services for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Application, Operating System, Database and associated technology to the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage
In summary, the Services comprise:
• technical and functional support to assist the Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage (DHLGH) staff to plan and execute an upgrade of its Oracle EBS Application from Release 11.5.10.2 to Release 12.2.10.
• associated Database and Operating System upgrades to the latest versions that are certified with EBS Release 12.2.10 for interoperability purposes;
• technical and functional support in the migration of the database and the EBS application to new hardware in Government Data Centres in conjunction with the software upgrades.
• upgrade of the Oracle Enterprise Manager Version (OEM);
• deliver a solution for reports currently generated from Discoverer 11.1.1.4 that will be required in R12.2.10. The current Hubble reporting solution will be retained for ad-hoc reporting and specific Met Éireann (a line division of the DHLGH) reporting.
Ongoing drawdown support services for:
• the existing R11.5.10.2 application prior to the R12 go-live and ongoing support and
enhancement services for the upgraded Release R12.2.10 solution thereafter;
• assistance with the data migration from the R12.2.10 application as part of the planned move to financial shared services in the National Shared Services Office; and
• advice and assistance with identification of a cost effective long term legacy
system solution after the Department’s move to financial shared services.
