The object of the procurement is property insurance of Pääkaupunkiseudun Junakalusto Oy ("Contracting Entity):

- Spare parts for on-board units and train access control equipment

as further described in the request to participate and its annexes.

The tendering procedure is carried out by negotiated procedure in accordance with section 38 of the Act on Procurement and Concession Contracts of entities operating in the water, energy, transport and postal services sectors, 1398/2016 ("Act on Public Procurement in Special Sectors"). With this invitation to participate, the Contracting Entity invites the suppliers interested in the procurement to participate in the negotiated procedure, the course of which is described in more detail in the section "Further information on the procurement procedure" of the invitation to participate and to submit a preliminary tender in accordance with the invitation to participate, on the basis of which the negotiations will be conducted.

Acquisition target

The object of the acquisition is the Contracting Entity's property insurance.

For the sake of clarity, it is stated that the insurance amounts are specified at the negotiation stage and determined in the final invitation to tender.

VAKUUTUSEHDOT

The preliminary insurance terms and conditions are described in the draft contract attached to the request for participation (Appendix 1). Having negotiated the detailed terms of the draft contract during the negotiation phase and shall be confirmed in the final invitation to tender, in accordance with which the final tenders shall be submitted.

OPERATIONS AND OPERATING ENVIRONMENT OF THE CONTRACTING ENTITY

The operations and operating environment of the contracting entity are described in the presentation of the company and operating environment attached to the request for participation (Appendix 2).
