The national road N06/ N06W is to be completely repaired for the main lot construction "Maintenance project EP Thun Nord - Spiez, subproject 12+13" in the section Thun Süd to Spiez and between Lattigen to Wimmis/ Erlenbach over a total of approx. 12 km. For this purpose, the drainage system and service pipes will be renewed, the concrete pavement and the "green centre" will be replaced by a black pavement and the vehicle restraint systems and fences will be replaced. This includes the phased repair of 3 bridges, 8 overpasses, 18 underpasses, a culvert and 16 retaining walls KB depending on the main traffic phases. The project also includes the construction of 3 new road wastewater treatment plants, the construction of a new scour protection system below the Kander bridges and work in the Simmenfluh tunnel with a new coating on the tunnel walls and the replacement of the pavement.
