The object of this call for tender is to provide consultancy services for the revision of the digital tachograph security framework and draft a technical report, which describes the new security framework of the digital tachograph and the definition of the migration strategy. The revision shall be conducted on the 'Design for Assurance' paradigm for the security aspects. This approach (or paradigm) is extended from the common criteria (available as ISO/IEC 15408) towards the design phases of a product or service and results in the separation of objectives, functional requirements, and detailed requirements.

Once the new digital security framework is established, an additional task will be the definition of the migration strategy from the existing framework to the new framework.
