To this end, UMC wishes to conclude a framework agreement with several entrepreneur(s) for the duration of 4 years, with an optional extension of 2x1 years.
Within Radboudumc and Amsterdam UMC, both diagnostic and research laboratories use Mass Spectrometer (MS) configurations for various purposes, such as measuring molecules, proteins, hormones, etc. In view of the forecast that there will be regular requests for the purchase of MS configurations in the next 4 years, UMCs jointly put a European tender for contracting framework contractors for the supply and maintenance of MS configurations back on the market. The actual purchase is awarded after being requested in competition by means of a mini-competition among the framework contractors.
This is a joint European public tender of the UMCs listed below. The tender concerns a framework agreement for deliveries ms Configurations. The participating University Medical Centers are: Academic Medical Center and VU Medical Center (collectively also called Amsterdam UMC) and Radboudumc and its subsidiaries.
The Contracting Authorities are further referred to in this Request for Quotation (both jointly and individually) as "UMC", unless otherwise indicated.
AMC is the coordinator and therefore in principle a single point of contact for interested parties and tenderers.

Reason for the assignment
Within Radboudumc and Amsterdam UMC, both diagnostic and research laboratories use Mass Spectrometer (MS) configurations for various purposes, such as measuring molecules, proteins, hormones, etc.
More than 4 years ago, Radboudumc and AMC contracted framework contractors through a European tender for the supply of MS configurations, whereby actual purchase was awarded after competing through a mini-competition among the framework contractors.
At both UMCs, the current framework agreements will expire. In view of the prognosis that there will be very regular requests for the purchase of MS configurations in the next 4 years, Radboudumc and its 100% subsidiaries that place orders via Radboudumc (including KGCN) (hereinafter referred to as "Radboudumc") and Amsterdam UMC (location AMC and VUMC) jointly put a European tender for contracting framework contractors for delivery and maintenance of MS configurations back on the market.
