Strategic Procurement of the City of Turku invites tenders for textbooks and related materials to be used by the City of Turku and other entities specified in the invitation to tender. The procurement is subject to a framework contract with one (1) supplier. The contract period is October 1, 2019 (target) - September 30, 2021. The contract may be extended for a maximum of two years (1 + 1) at the decision of the subscriber. The purchase applies to the purchase of textbooks and related materials. The purchase of electronic material is an option, depending on the customer's needs.
The total estimated value of the acquisition, exclusive of VAT, is approximately EUR 3 000 000 / year. Purchasing does not commit to a specific purchase quantity during the contract period, but orders products according to the needs of the purchasing units.
Orders and deliveries
The subscriber reserves the right to make so-called. basic orders, whereby the customer places orders centrally during the weeks to be arranged, either in the spring or in the fall, and the supplier must deliver them during the weeks to be agreed. The provider commits itself to this policy. It must be possible to order basic textbooks for the following academic year through the supplier's electronic ordering system at least until the end of March each year. Basic orders must be delivered by the end of each spring semester unless otherwise agreed with the subscriber. It must be possible to place additional orders throughout the contract period according to the customer's needs. Delivery time for additional orders on business days must be stated in the offer. The subscriber must have a minimum of two (2) weeks from the date of delivery for the delivery of basic orders. The offer should include a brief explanation of the complaint practices.
Provider's electronic ordering system The provider must have an electronic ordering system. The subscription system should receive reports on volume and price information by subscriber unit. The offer must include a brief description of the ordering system and reporting capabilities. The Tenderer must commit to provide at least one (1) order system implementation training / purchasing facility at the Subscriber's premises. Training must be included in the price offered (including travel, accommodation, subsistence, etc.).
