North Cumbria University Hospitals NHS Trust are looking to appoint a Supplier/Contractor to provide a Managed Service Contract (‘MSC’) for a new blood culture analysis Managed Service at Cumberland Infirmary. The contract also includes a remote module located at West Cumberland Hospital providing the facility to monitor loading, unloading and progress of bottles at the main Pathology Services department located within Cumberland Infirmary.

North Cumbria University Hospitals NHS Trust (the Trust") are seeking to appoint a Supplier and intends to let a Managed Service Contract ("MSC") blood culture equipment interfaced to the laboratory. The MSC will include provision of equipment, consumables and reagents, support and maintenance, staff training, regular review meetings and reports. The supplier will implement and closely manage the MSC for the duration of the contract at both the Cumberland Infirmary site and the remote module located at the West Cumberland Hospital.
