The ZVH tenders for a complete provision of the planning (detail engineering) and plant construction of a fermentation plant for a multi-purpose demonstration plant (BioCampus MultiPilot (BMP)). Essentially, the subject matter of the present award procedure comprises all necessary planning, supply, construction and services for the realization of a self-contained fermentation plant (package unit) that is fully functional in accordance with the results of basic engineering and the design and approval planning of the building and for the integration of this into a fully functional BMP. Within the scope of this invitation to tender, AN shall provide all necessary services with regard to the apparatus design, manufacture, assembly, delivery, assembly and installation, connection and commissioning of all machines, apparatus, peripheral components and other systems within the process limits (in battery limits) of the package unit.

The documents, plans, calculations and descriptions created in the course of basic engineering form the basis for the subject matter of the tender. These must be included as a basis in the further processing (detail engineering and plant construction) by the contractor.

The fermentation plant comprises all main apparatus described in the tender documents as well as all peripheral equipment necessary for their process engineering functions in accordance with the results of basic engineering, local piping, cabling and instrumentation, steel construction, automation and safety equipment. Essentially, the subject matter of the present award procedure comprises all necessary planning, supply, construction and services for the realization of a self-contained fermentation plant (package unit) that is fully functional in accordance with the results of basic engineering and the design and approval planning of the building and for the integration of this sub-plant into a fully functional BMP. Within the scope of this invitation to tender, AN shall provide all necessary services with regard to the apparatus design, manufacture, assembly, delivery, assembly and installation, connection and commissioning of all machines, apparatus, peripheral components and other systems within the process limits (in battery limits) of the package unit.

Based on the existing results and current findings, a uniform, coherent and explicit detailed engineering of the fermentation plant including mixing, feed and correction agent containers as well as CIP plant and all peripheral machines, apparatus, piping, valves, fittings, sensors and other elements is to be carried out according to existing process flow diagrams for fermentation. The existing technical specifications must be supplemented, specified and specified by the contractor for completeness and correctness. The processing of the deliveries as well as the coordination of the plant construction for the subsystems within the scope of services of the contractor are also among the essential tasks of the contractor. Automation and process control programming, functional tests, performance records and acceptance of all machines, apparatus, process units and systems necessary for the proper use of the fermentation plant are also to be provided by the contractor within the project.

Overall, it is the contractor's task to continue to plan and implement a fermentation plant within the BioCampus MultiPilot that is fully functional in the sense of the design concept and also to introduce and integrate it into the overall BMP system without any problems.
