The Central Norway Regional Health Authority RHF and its Health Trusts (“HMN”), and the City of Trondheim (“TCT”), together with other municipalities in the Central Norway Health Region (Møre og Romsdal and Trøndelag), have entered into a contract regarding the delivery of a new electronic health record solution with adjacent systems and services for the specialist and primary healthcare services (hereafter the “EHR solution”), including general practitioners in Central Norway.
A new common EHR solution will replace HMN's and the municipalities' existing solutions and provide significantly improved functionality, including electronic interaction between entities to support clinical pathways across organisational borders and interfaces, facilitation of active involvement of citizens in their own health (patient empowerment), and the collection of health data for organisational-, development- and research objectives.
The procurement concerns a new electronic health record solution with adjacent systems and services for the specialist and primary healthcare services (hereafter the “EHR solution”), including general practitioners in Central Norway.
A new common EHR solution will replace HMN's and the municipalities' existing solutions and provide significantly improved functionality, including electronic interacting between entities to support clinical patways across organisational border and interfaces, facilitation of active involvement of citizens in their own health (patient empowerment), and the collection of health data for organisational-, development- and research objectives.
The term of the purchase contract will be 10 years after go-live for the last Health Trust in the region. The procurement includes support of maintenance services that will be governed by a continuous maintenance and support contract. The procurement also includes training of users, consultancy services related to e.g. installation(s) and integration interfaces, customization (adjustment and adaptions to systems and functions), configuration and data migration, and other software, materiel or services as are needed to support the implementation of the EHR solution.
The maximum value of the procurement is stated in the notice of the competition. With regards to the signed contract, the following is agreed:
— contract value excl. options: approx. 1 550 000 000 NOK,
— contract value incl. functional option: approx. 1 575 000 000 NOK.
Estimated contract value incl. functional option, service option and additional services: approx. 2 000 000 000 NOK.
