With the overall project “new railway city opladen”, the city of Leverkusen is developing the area of a former railway repair shop in the district of Opladen. In cooperation with Deutsche Bahn AG, a freight line was laid and a development area of around 11 hectares was created to the west. The development of this development area with apartments, commercial and service areas takes place via the newly built Europa-Allee.
The northern end of Europa-Allee is a new 4-armed roundabout to be built. This has a diameter of 38.00 m, with a circular lane of 4.50 m plus a 3.00 m wide inner ring. In addition, on the previously prepared section of Europa-Allee between the north roundabout and the central bus station (ZOB), the roadway must be milled by ~ 2 cm (asphalt binder layer) and then cast asphalt gutters and the decking must be produced.
The following road construction work is essentially required for the construction project and is the subject of this tender:
- Dismantling of the existing traffic areas,
- creation of the subgrade,
- Production of layers without binders for the roundabout and side areas,
- production of asphalt and binder courses,
- production of high, round and low kerbstones,
- production of flat curbs,
- Production of paving and paving slabs for sidewalks / bike paths,
- production of curb gutters in paving construction,
- production of street gullies and connection to collecting pipes,
- production of signage,
- Production of road markings.
Note: The expansion of the traffic system is carried out under traffic.
